Key Ingredients

Texturizing agents are used to get a solid balm, stable at higher temperature but melting on the skin for a good payoff

PHYTOWAX® OLIVE** are great alternatives to synthetic waxes sourced from olive, increasing the consistency and creaminess of the formula.

18L57** has a melting point around 57C for texture and thickness but very soft during application. MP: 52-60°C (Hydrogenated Olive Oil Stearyl Esters)

10L40** has a lower melting point, close to the temperature of the skin, for high emolliency. MP: 35-42°C (Hydrogenated Olive Oil Decyl Esters)

DUB CIRE H1* is a unique texturizer with melting point close to skin temperature. It provides a smooth liquifying texture to application and long-lasting residual film. MP 37-41°C. (C10-18 Triglycerides)

Organic Mango Butter** is a dense butter providing texture and consistency MP: 27C - 35°C. (Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter)

Emollients enhance payoff, ensure the glide of the stick and increase moisturization:

DUB ESTOLINE®* is a comforting and protecting ester with a surprising honey-like yet non-sticky texture. It provides a smoothing effect with a satiny finish, and cushion without an oily sensation. (Ethylhexyl polyhydroxystearate)

DUB OE HP* is a natural ester, alternative to cyclopentasiloxane with its very high spreading value, it helps to reduce the oily feel and provides skin hydration. (Ethyl Oleate)

BIOPHYTOSEBUM®** is a natural active emollient from olive with a composition close to skin sebum (Olive Oil Decyl esters (and) Squalene) It restores the lipidic skin barrier, preventing water loss and increasing firmness and elasticity (in vivo tested). With its easy spread, high penetration rate and non greasy feel, it can be used as silicon alternative.

This body moisturizer helps increasing skin moisturization and suppleness:

SEA LAVENDER SC halophytic plant extract increases skin moisturization while plumping and oxygenating the skin (Caprylic/Capric triglyceride - Limonium Gerberi Extract)

KALPARIANE™ Alaria esculenta extract maintains skin suppleness and firmness, while moisturizing the skin. (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride - Alaria Esculenta extract)

FORMULATION ADVICES:

Laboratory scale - 300g

Combine phase A and heat to 75°C under agitation. When all ingredients are melted, cool down the batch to 55C with slow mixing and add phase B ingredients. At 50C, add phase C and mix well then pour at 50°C.
